 A board meeting is scheduled for 9am Sunday, March 11th.

 Minutes from meeting Feb 15th 6 pm: Roll call, financial report, general discussion and election of officers and directors.

 Elections were held for three directors to serve in 2012. The results are as follows: President Jack Starkey, Vice President Paul Rossi, (3 year directors), George Clement, George Ditzenberger, Bob Vesey. (2 year directors), Tom Stantial, Whitey Shrum, Bob Leali, (1 year directors), Larry Bolino, Richard Smith, Dave Hehemann. Welcome Mr. Vesey!

 It was further resolved/ confirmed that current directors Mr. Mort Schubert and Mr. Gary Redman have resigned their positions effective immediately.

Mr. Starkey stated that he is moving the calendar forward for nominations and elections for year 2013. Nominations will be conducted in November and elections will be held in a combined board and annual meeting scheduled for Tuesday January 1st.

Mr. Rossi reported on the new trap field progress and the board approved the use of limited general funds only after all non- general funds in the amount of $17,220 have been expended. The new field will include a Patco trap with doubles capability and voice-activated remote pullers. The field should be ready for use in mid April.

Mr. Starkey reports Range Services will be in early to start the reclaiming of lead. The drier the ground conditions the more lead will be harvested. Rain is our enemy!

Mr. Starkey reports Attorney Michael Grove, a member of our club, has read the two oil and gas leases. He has determined they have expired and we are free to sell those retained rights. We begin our search by inviting the membership to provide information as to leasing and drilling companies, familiar to their own or neighbor’s experience that we may contact.

Mr. Starkey reports he is moving the club’s 501-C IRS filing to Ella Johnston , CPA of Newton Falls and that he will take ownership, freeing the club secretary of this responsibility for the time being.

A sign-up sheet is posted in the club house for those members and non-members wishing to obtain their Ohio concealed carry permit. Contact Jack Starkey ph. 330-872-0914 if you wish to attend or have questions. We are looking for 10-12 people and have 8 currently signed.

A signup sheet has been posted for shot ................. we have 42 bags so far and are looking to get the one ton price of $33 per. So please get on board.

A work day has been scheduled for Saturday April 7th. On that day we will receive a load of targets and clean up the felled trees. We need chain saws and helpers. The traps need cleaned and the fences painted weather permitting. Please respond via e-mail or call me if you can bring a saw.
